Cancer Mindset with The Rugarts

Anyone who has had someone close to them receive a cancer diagnosis, which is unfortunately most of us, knows how distressing it can be. But what's the proper response? Do you turn inward and keep it a secret? Or are you supposed to rely entirely on others? Luckily I have a couple of experts today with knowledge from both the diagnosed and the caregiver sides to help us figure it out. Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.  My guests today are Nancy Rugart Plummer and Robert Rugart. This mother and son duo have almost over a half dozen experiences with severe cancers in their family, with Nancy being one of the only people to have survived Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and Metastatic Brain Cancer in the world. That's not to say it was ever an easy journey, but they learned a lot having to go through the process more than once. Now they're on the show to pass along the critical lessons learned along the way, and share how you can apply the same steps to your everyday life.
