Cancer New Moon 7.14.26

This new moon you are breaking away from that old emotional shell of shadows and choosing to receive experiences differently in order to create experiences differently. Our Cancer New Moon is divinely aligned with our retrograde Mercury. Tis the season for confronting nostalgia and extra-sensitive triggers (triggers cooked into us via family trauma). We’re revisiting old sources of imprints: people, places, and circumstances that shaped us. You could be literally traveling back to somewhere that really meant something to you, or a “special familiar place” might be conjured in the interactions you’re encountering locally. Either way, we feel like we’re back in the same shoes, but we now realize how impossible it is to walk forward in the same old manner. Subconsciously we play along the same route, dance the same steps, no matter the place or time. It doesn’t matter who we’re with or where we travel to. We wander into the same shadows everywhere we go because the shadows are cast from within us.
