In part 3 of Penney's story, she talks about her long road to recovery from cancer -- treatments, chemotherapy, "Red Devil" chemo, terrible side effects, and how it all affected her emotionally. She began to be more reserved, isolated and angry until God broke through the pain and began the healing-- physically, emotionally and spiritually. Part of that came on the heels of breast cancer when she had 2/3 of a lung removed in 2017. This became a catalyst for her to quit smoking after 45 years and follow her sister's advice -- "You have to fight." In this episode, she gives advice to those going through a similar journey and shares the comfort and hope she's been given through "Penney's Angels," music that revived her soul, and messages of hope.
