What does it take to run 200 ultramarathons in 200 consecutive days? Candice Burt joins us on the podcast to share those insights, as she recently accomplished that exact feat. And with that accomplishment, she broke the world record (which was only previously 22 days!). Candice is no stranger to the endurance world. She is the founder of Destination Trail, which is the home of the legendary Triple Crown of 200’s, including the Moab 240, Tahoe 200, and Bigfoot 200. She is also an incredibly accomplished runner with multiple top 10 finishes in the HURT 100, tons of ultra finishes and podium appearances, and FKTs. She is also a mother of two on top of it all. In this episode, Candice shares how she was able to push through the challenges that came with running 200 ultras, her mindset and strategy for taking on the challenge, and how she was able to handle all of the priorities in her life on top of completing the challenge.
