Candlelight vigil and march to be held outside Academy of Natural Sciences on its last day of operations

After nearly 200 years, the Academy of Natural Sciences will close to the public on Sunday. Among the reasons are declining ticket sales and increasing operating costs. The Save the Academy Coalition says the doors may be closing for now, but this isn't over. A candlelight vigil will be held outside the academy on Sunday at 5 p.m., followed by a march to City Hall.
