Alleluia!!With joy we greet our listeners this Easter Sunday and wish everyone a joyous Easter as Christians celebrate the good news of the Resurrection!(For our Orthodox & Greek Orthodox brothers & sisters, they have another week before celebrating Pascha!)On this weeks podcast we are joined by Sr Catherine Kavanagh who reflects on the meaning of Easter and the new life that it means for us all and how we can begin to think anew about something which is so familiar and at the same time so strange to us.As we enter into the Easter Octave (another one of those times in the liturgical calendar when the Church liturgically stops time to emphasis the celebration!) we don't have any saints for the coming week. We have our reflection on the gospel which is John's account of the discovery of the empty tomb on that Easter morning (John 20:1-9) and we reflect how the light at the end of the darkness, is the sunlight through the open tomb: door, reminding us of the hope that we need to proclaim.-We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song!Text us at +353 874668950 or email at [email protected]
