During the summer months here on C&SI we try to share with listeners reflections and talks which we have come across which we think deserve a wider audience and to provide some thoughtful listening for our listeners. On this weeks podcast we share a reflection from National Novena 2026 at Knock from Fr Paul Murphy - "The Healing Power of Love".Fr Paul F. Murphy is a priest of the Diocese of Waterford & Lismore and has served as chaplain to the Irish Defence Forces for 12 years, based at Mellows’ Barracks (formerly Renmore Barracks) in Galway, including six overseas deployments to Syria, Lebanon and Israel. He came to national prominence in 2024 when he survived an attempted murder by a young radicalised Muslim man and publicly offered forgiveness to his attacker, citing countless blessings on the night of the attack.
