I finally decided to jump start Spooky Season commentary, and better late than never... So it was on to one of the more innovative and intriguing slasher flicks that had a well deserved direct sequel last year. Nia DaCosta had Jordan Peele backing her directorial mark in the horror genre, and I'd say they knocked this out of the park. The social commentary and overall themes have remained, and expanded so this is one for the culture in my opinion. Enjoy, y'all.
