Cannabis and Resilience

from The Cannabis Connoisseur · host Bleav + Islah Washington

How has 2020 treated you so far? Maybe a bit like the rest of us? Yes! It’s been a tough year…the world has been through a lot of pain, we have seen even more pain, and sometimes there doesn’t seem like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. These are the days when you wake up and ask yourself, “Will I survive the day? Or will I thrive today?” Asking these questions to yourself during difficult times and following through with answers that will bring you back up to your feet is how character is born, and this characteristic we speak of specifically here is called “resilience.” 2020 has been a year of character building and resilience for all of us in so many different ways. Some of us have gone through medical issues, some financial, and some very personal, and finding a way to persevere through these times is what character-building is all about and what brings us that “next level.” Victor Ung, a specialist on building emotional intelligence and resilience for men globally, Cannabis Wellness Coach, and creator of the Human Up Podcast and The Emotional Dojo For Asian Men (1,000+members+ and counting), joins us for a conversation on how we can best face these hurdles that we encounter while we journey through life, and most importantly for us here, how cannabis can assist us while we build our resilience to daily challenges, and thus our character.
