Cannabis Mindset with Phil Stille

from BIOACTIVE · host Riley D. Kirk, Ph.D.

With any substance we use regularly, wether it be weed, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine or something else it's important to evaluate your relationship with it and make sure its adding value to your life. Todays episode is with Phil Stille who has struggled with his relationship with cannabis in the past and has learned ways to be kinder to himself and to cannabis via changing his mindset. I came across Phil a few months ago on social media and wanted to have a longer conversation to learn about his journey with cannabis over the years. In this episode we talk about mindset, intention, imposter syndrome, escapism, and so much more. WARNING, there is some explicit language in this episode. While not everyone struggles with their relationship with cannabis, I think it's safe to say that many people do and as a community we should try to help people find balance in their lives rather than judging in any way. Not everything in this episode is going to pertain to everyone, and we fully realize that issues go much deeper than what we are discussing here. Often times, inner peace and comfort will take many tools alongside cannabis like talking with loved ones and mental health professionals. Nothing in this podcast is medical advice, and as always I appreciate your support <3 Thank you to Boveda for sponsoring this podcast, if you want to try Boveda packs head to BovedaInc.com. Prof Johnathan Napier - Fish oils and seeds for healthy foods Omega-3 fatty acids - obtained from fish oils - are vital for human health, but there is no sustainable production system in place for them. Fisheries are not run sustainably, and the marine environment is suffering from pollution which can accumulate in fish. Unfortunately, popular plant oils such as flax and linseed lack the bioactive omega-3 fatty acids that humans need. We need an alternative and sustainable source of these important compounds to tackle the health issues of the 21st century.Prof Johnathan Napier works at Rothamsted Research in Hertfordshire, a government-funded insitution and the oldest agricultural research station in the world.
