Can't Wait for Christmas

Jerusalem lies in ruins, the temple is destroyed, and God’s people wonder whether He has abandoned them. Psalm 74 turns their complaint into trust by remembering God’s victory at the Red Sea and His power over creation. Jesus answers their deepest fear as Emmanuel, God with us. His cross fulfils the temple’s sacrifices, and His presence does not depend on a sacred building.
