Cantillo’s Redemption Powers Guardians to 10K Win | Cleveland Guardians News

Joey Cantillo delivered a masterclass on Saturday, tossing six innings of one-run, one-hit ball with seven strikeouts to help the Guardians crush his former team 6-1 — and in the process, Cleveland hit its 10,000th all-time win, joining an elite club with only the Red Sox and Yankees. Cantillo’s redemption arc continued after a shaky first inning, as he shut down the Padres’ offense. The Guardians’ bats also came alive, led by Jo Adell’s RBI double, José Ramírez’s return from injury (including a double and sacrifice fly), and doubles from Steven Kwan and Patrick Bailey. It was a historic, dominant day for the franchise after a rough stretch. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
