Canto 08 Part 06 | Churning of the Cosmic Ocean: Emergence of Treasures, Mohini Avatar, and the Secret of Amrita

This is series of talks of the text from U.Ve. Sribhashyam Appalacharya Srimad Bhagavatha Tatwa Deepika [EN_TITLE]Samudra Manthan – The Churning of the Ocean, Halahala Poison, and Shiva's Sacrifice[/EN_TITLE] [EN_DESC]This discourse covers the continuation of the Samudra Manthan (churning of the cosmic ocean) from the Eighth Skandha of Srimad Bhagavatam. It describes how the devas and asuras jointly uprooted Mount Mandara, how Lord Vishnu took the Kurma (tortoise) avatar to support the mountain, and how He simultaneously empowered all participants from within. When the terrible Halahala poison emerged from the ocean threatening all three worlds, the gods and people sought refuge in Lord Shiva, who, out of compassion and devotion to Vishnu, consumed the poison to protect creation. The poison left a blue mark on Shiva's throat, which became an ornament, and whatever dripped from his hand gave rise to venomous creatures like scorpions and snakes.[/EN_DESC] [TE_TITLE]సముద్ర మథనం – కూర్మావతారం, హాలాహల విషం మరియు శివుని త్యాగం[/TE_TITLE] [TE_DESC]ఈ ప్రవచనంలో అష్టమ స్కంధంలోని సముద్ర మథన కథ కొనసాగింపు వివరించబడింది.
