Capitalize on Christmas
from Song Lyrics
I'm here to spread some Christmas cheer, like everyone else this time of year. Let's sing of snow and mistletoe, and jolly Santa's ho ho ho. Now rush off to the store and buy happiness and corporate lies. And make sure as you run along, you pick up my new Christmas song. Chorus: I just wanna capitalize on Christmas (Christmas) I just wanna capitalize on Christmas (Christmas) I just wanna capitalize on Christmas (Christmas) I just wanna capitalize on Christmas (Christmas) Why is it that every pop star has to pick up their guitar and pretend to be inspired to write a Christmas song for hire? Their label does it for the money. You know what really makes it funny? It takes so long to record a CD, They write the songs in Feburary. Chorus So not to kill the Christmas cheer, I'd rather have my family near. And listen to songs about reindeer, not something by Britney Spears. Chorus ©2007 Amber G. and Grant Grueninger
