This episode features a new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban-American playwright Nilo Cruz, performed by acclaimed vocal artist Christopher Lane. In 2003, Cruz was the first Latino to receive a Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play “Anna and the Tropics.” Signature music in this episode features Markus Rutz’s modern vision and Latin jazz arrangements of the iconic melody RHAPSODY IN BLUE, by the great American Songbook composer, George Gershwin.
