Captain Jeff Cirminello / Leading the Charge / Proactively taking care of his peoples health

In this episode I sit down with a dear friend of over 20 years, Captain Jeff Cirminello from the Broward County Sheriff's Office / Tamarac District. We  discussed the importance of leaders caring about their people and how  those leaders  can establish an environment that proactively addressed the employees physical and mental health needs. Jeff and his command have recently been the  focus of several mental health spotlight news stories featuring some really progressive wellness initiatives for his people. Jeff has literally created an environment, a room within the district office, where his employees can decompress, reduce stress , and better prepare themselves physically and mentally to deal with the next critical incident. The Zen Den has been positively impacting not only the deputies but  the residents of Tamarac in having a deputy in the community that is more intone with their physical and mental health.
