He commanded a carrier-based strike-fighter squadron, and, during his career, logged over 1,000 carrier-arrested landings aboard eleven aircraft carriers. He is a self-employed defense consultant and the author of the unforgettable RAVEN ONE trilogy of contemporary naval aviation.
