Captain Thunderbolt!

Subscribe to my newsletter to receive a new short story every few weeks via email. (Here’s a sample.) This will also keep you in the loop regarding the completion and release of my work in-progress. So…go for it! For Parents: Using This Story Devotionally Use this story to lead your family through Mark 9:42–50. Start by reading the passage aloud. Then, listen to the story. Finally, read the passage again and discuss: * What is the connection between something precious to you (like your hand, foot, or eye) causing you to sin, and you causing others to sin (v. 42)? * What does salt represent in vv. 49–50? (Note the connection between salt and fire in v. 49, and how fire comes up in vv. 43, 48.) * In view of that, how is salt good (v. 50)? And how does it relate to being at peace with one another? This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit www.andrewjhubert.com
