Originally from the infamous Transylvania, in Romania- Val Vesa speaks about growing up in a former communist country, and how after communism fell in 1989 he was introduced to photography after receiving a gift from a German soldier... His introduction to photography was just about as enchanting as his images. Val now resides full time in London where he works for a tech company (Cloudfare) in community management with his family.
