Car Memories!

It's all about car memories! Galaxy Good Guy Tom Dulaney joins us as we remember fad, fun, and muscle cars of the 1960's and 1970s. Tom's expertise sizes up many of that time period's fad cars, like the Chevrolet Vega, AMC Pacer, Volkswagen Beetle, and other memorable compact and economy cars. Our discussion of Pontiac GTOs and big block Chevys and Fords may race across your memories, bringing back the smell of burning tire rubber and twenty-nine cent Hi-Test gasoline. We discuss the evolution of today's electric cars, and remind show listeners that non-gasoline powered vehicles go back to the early 20th century! Who out there recalls the childhood thrill of taking to the road in the family station wagon or large sedan, back in a time of cheap gas and gas guzzlers? Order a burger, fries, and a triple thick milkshake, then hop into your cruiser and join us on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, on the Galaxy Nostalgia Network https://bit.ly/MuscleCarsFadCars
