Car ploughs into chicken shop injuring children

A BMW station wagon mounted the kerb and crashed into Wicked Chicken on Allambie Road, Allambie Heights on Sydney's northern beaches just before 3pm. Three children who were eating chips inside at the time were injured, with a seven-year-old boy hospitalised with leg injuries and two others treated for minor injuries. The driver, believed to be in his 40s, is suspected to have accidentally hit the wrong pedal while parked at the front of the shop.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
