Cardinals Call Up Bernal and Rincón | St. Louis News

St. Louis Cardinals are seizing September’s roster expansion window, calling up top prospects Leo Bernal and Hancel Rincón—both making their MLB debuts this season. Bernal, the team’s No. 7 prospect, is crushing it in Triple-A with a .278 average, 16 homers, and 77 RBIs, while Rincón, a 24-year-old righty, brings a solid strikeout rate and ERAs to the bullpen. With the Cardinals six games behind a Wild Card spot, these young stars could be key to their late-season push—and might suit up as early as Tuesday against the Dodgers.
