CARDMEDIC: improving communication with our patients

An anaesthetist, Dr Rachael Grimaldi is a mum of 3 children under the age of 4, and is currently on maternity leave. Frustrated at not being able to join the frontline in the fight against COVID-19, Rachael saw an opportunity to improve communications with the patients whilst in full PPE by developing an innovative and simple resource, an app called CardMedic.
