A popular news anchor leaves her decades long position for another station, and doesn’t appear to have the opportunity to sign off to her viewers. Her co-workers are stunned and asked to read a short goodbye on the air to her and the viewers. Her co-anchor, visibly angry, goes rogue the next day with a statement to viewers and his colleagues about how great his co-anchor is and how wrong it was for her not to be able to say goodbye.
