Caregivers

Do you know someone who is a caregiver? Then you also know that is a full-time job, 24/7. They might rearrange the living quarters. They might install grab-bars. They might become the home-pharmacist, counting out the meds and also making sure they are taken when prescribed. Other times we may have the opportunity to be an instant caregiver. It is done to someone you may have never met before or may never see again. Here are a few starters: Hold open the door for a disabled person. Offer transportation to someone who no longer is able to drive. Make a home visit (care facility) to someone who has few visitors. Offer to sit with someone as you send birthday cards to their friends and family. When you become a caregiver, you show Jesus’ compassion.
