Jennifer Richey had the primary responsibility of managing the care of her grandfather and both of her parents at the ends of their lives. In 2018, she became a Certified Caregiving Consultant and a Certified Life Coach, specializing in helping those taking care of aging parents, adult children with disabilities, and other loved ones. Two months ago, I found myself thrust into the unexpected role of caregiver for my father after he fell and broke his shoulder.
