Caring for Loved Ones with Alzheimer’s and Dementia

At least 5 million Americans have Dementia, and about 50% of our fathers and mothers will have the disease by the time they reach 90 years of age. As Christians, we can rest assured that God has a reason for this disease as it afflicts our loved ones. What is it like to experience Dementia? Do personalities change? Are there certain things that cause dementia . . . or hasten the onset of it?
