The incredible diversity of the place, from producing some of the world’s best Riesling, to also producing some of the world’s best reds – after all, if you haven’t yet been mesmerised by Clare Valley Shiraz you really need to sort that out – but there is a magic to the place, and I have always wondered what that was all about. So, who better to spill the beans – or the grapes for that matter - than  Carissa Major of Claymore Wines – given that she has championed the Clare Valley for the greater part of 20 years. Carissa’s passion for Clare, Wine and Claymore are invigorating and electrifying and I do not throw those terms around loosely.
