Carlo A. Scagnelli, Good Shepherd Catechist and Lions Charter Member, Dies at 81

Carlo A. Scagnelli died on March 24, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Carlo was born on October 25, 1944, in New York, NY, the only son among his sisters, Dina and Ines, both of whom predeceased him.  Carlo earned his Bachelor's degree from Marist College and met his wife, Bette Hammond, while in college. They were married in 1966 at St. Mary's Church in Fishkill. Carlo worked as a Database Administrator with Central Hudson in Poughkeepsie for over 38 years.
