Carlos Duran Debut Lights Up Royals Bullpen | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals make a bold bullpen move, sending struggling pitcher Lucas Erceg down to Triple-A and calling up towering 6’7” Carlos Duran for his major league debut. Acquired from the Dodgers in a trade for Kris Bubic, Duran boasts elite velocity (96.5 mph) and a strong minor league track record — 64 strikeouts in 45 innings with a 3.15 ERA. With the Royals’ bullpen in need of heat, Duran’s arrival signals a fresh, fiery arm ready to make an immediate impact on the mound.
