Carlos Zarate

43 years ago today Mexican great Carlos Zarate knocked out then-undefeated Mexican Olympian Alfonso Zamora in the fourth round in a popular match known as "The Battle of the Z's". There was a lot of real drama about the fight at the time. It was a real honor and privilege to have the International Boxing Hall of Famer, Zarate, come on TheBoxingBar.com today to talk about this fight and his career. I will be posting the interview on the site sometime by Saturday night, so keep looking out for it. Cheers to Mr. Carlos "Cañas" Zarate!
