For almost 30 years, Carlsbad has had a drive-thru ban for its restaurants, but that may soon change. An effort to protect homes from wildfires in vulnerable communities are receiving a boost thanks to a wildfire mitigation program. Dog owners will soon be able to take their pets on the high seas.
