Carly Harvey on Living On Music

Carly Harvey, appearing here on her second 'Living On Music' episode, released her first full solo record "Kamama" in November 2024, and already it won Best Self-Produced Album/CD with the River City Blues Society, and will be in the running for Best Self-Produced Album at the 2025 International Blues Challenge. Carly is an Afro-Indigenous Blues musician based out of Washington, DC. who combines Blues, Jazz, Soul and Indigenous American styles to produce a unique sound, and in addition to performing as a solo act, Carly is an entertaining and dynamic band leader. In 2021, Carly was nominated 7 times and won the WAMMIE award for Best Blues Artist., and she also occasionally offers master classes to educate people about the music that gives her so much pride in her AfroIndigenous heritage.
