Text us about this show.Carmen Nickerson isn't one to sit back and let the opportunities life presents pass her by especially when those opportunities include music. From a young age growing up in a musical family on a farm in Iowa, Carmen had a love for making music. These days she's doing it as a member of the Willy Porter Band, in the duo of Porter Nickerson, fronting her own Carmen Sutra Band, and singing with the accompaniment of Kostia. In 2023 she released her first solo album, Room To Grow, which is a rich tapestry of original songs along with a cover or two that show off Carmen's ability to deliver great interpretations of other's tunes. Her midwestern roots and ethic are a big part of everything she does.
