Carnivorist Chats Episode 29 "From Vegan to Carnivore" with Claire Ciesl

Claire had been struggling with anorexia nervosa since childhood. Many traumas brought her deeper and deeper into this eating disorder. Then, while being very depressed, she discovered veganism, which only made things worse. She suffered from sarcopenia, and ended up in a wheelchair, blind, and tube fed. In 2017, she got the flu which became pneumonia, and she literally died for 6 minutes. Claire then began to reintroduce a little bit of animal protein from this point, and was able to survive but not to thrive. In 2021, she started a high fat carnivore diet, and was able to get back to life. She is now back to work, looking after her son, her dogs, her life and trying to be active in the carnivore community to spread the word that meat can heal even anorexia nervosa.
