Carolina Panthers focus on EDGE rusher on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft

After selecting Tetairoa McMillan in the first round on Thursday night, Carolina Panthers GM Dan Morgan said that the team had eight picks remaining and would not neglect addressing defensive needs with those picks. Morgan stuck to his word on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft by utilizing two separate trades up the draft board to select a pair of edge rushers in Texas A&M's Nic Scourton and Ole Miss' Princely Umanmielen.
