Caroline Calloway, A Conversation

from After Work Drinks

Up today, we're (finally) publicly sharing our iconic conversation with the iconic Caroline Calloway. Proof manifestation is real: Caroline has always been on our dream interview list and at the beginning of the year, we wrote that we wanted to get her on for our summer break (and that it might be possible because of her new book, Scammer, coming out). Then, in classic fashion, we forgot to email, gave up, and then opened our IG to an unsolicited DM from the woman herself. Literal scream. Coming up: accidentally scamming the girlies, (avoiding) writing books, and, of course, Natalie: that 2019 The Cut piece, female friendships and friend breakups, and.... Amsterdam. Turning 30 and freaking out, how ahead of her time Caroline was in terms of marketing herself as a business, on getting married (and divorced and then married again) and the anxiety around it, on having GAD and raw dogging depression, and having dreams.Warning: This second half of this episode discusses depression, suicidal ideation and addiction.  Hosted on Acast.
