Carrick Defies City’s Kings Claim | Belfast News

Michael Carrick dismisses City’s Elliot Anderson’s “kings of Manchester” claim, reminding fans of his own derby win and United’s Champions League progress. While Anderson boasts about City’s dominance since his £116m move, Carrick stays grounded, stressing the team’s hunger to improve and challenge for more. Despite a shaky start to the season, Carrick’s squad is building confidence, especially after their first clean sheet and a stunning 4-0 Champions League win. With a tight turnaround ahead of the derby and left-back Luke Shaw doubtful, Carrick remains focused on growth, resilience, and turning pressure into performance.
