Carter Jensen Lights Up Royals Win | Miami News

Carter Jensen went absolutely wild last night, nearly hitting for the cycle with a homer, triple, and double — driving in three runs and scoring three himself as the Royals crushed the Marlins 7-3. His three-homer streak over two games is sparking hope for a team that’s been swept in ten series this season. Michael Wacha earned the win with six strong innings and seven strikeouts, while Sandy Alcantara took the loss for Miami. The Marlins led early but Jensen’s clutch third-inning triple and fifth-inning blast turned the tide. The Royals added insurance in the eighth to seal it, sending both teams home for their next matchups: Marlins vs. Cubs, Royals vs. Blue Jays.
