Carter's Testimony: Faith Through Cancer

Even before cancer, Carter Low possessed a fervent and pure faith. His childhood was filled with family scripture study and family home evenings, which helped him build a doctrinal foundation to build his testimony. His faith helped him to serve a mission in Houston Texas, Mandarin-speaking. On his mission, Carter was diagnosed with cancer, but that didn't slow him down. He continued to find joy in life, trust in God, and remain optimistic. He says that people would always describe him "with a smile on his face", which he credits to the Spirit.
