In This Episode: After returning to Arkham after the horrors encountered in Louisiana, our investigators of the unknown undergo psychiatric treatment for their neuroses with the capable ministrations of Dr. Udo Kirche. Despite some lingering dreams and odd encounters, they are deemed ready to return to normal life. Nearly a year goes by and the trio of friends slowly drifts away from one another, although they maintain the tradition of brunch once a month. The last Sunday in September, Jack and Roy arrive at Blaine Manor only to find Dan Williams has gone on the lamb, seeking out some mysterious artifacts he believes will somehow bring his dead fiancé back from the embrace of death.
