Just north of San Francisco, there is a 2,700 acre private campground set deep amongst the majestic redwood forests. Since 1872, captains of industry, media moguls, and artists have come together at an exclusive gathering every July for two weeks. To attend this invite-only meeting of money and minds you might spend as long 20 years on the lengthy waiting list. If you had been a member in the last 50 years you wouldn’t be surprised to see a few familiar faces from the U.S. Political stage. Names like Nixon, Reagan, and Bush would be among those staying within the luxuriously appointed camps. At least one journalist had infiltrated the camp and expounded on the activities that the rich and famous get up to. Painting a picture of near-constant drunken hijinks interspersed with lectures and musical performances and an abundance of public urination. But there are rumors of something sinister going on underneath the dark boughs of the secluded forests. Rumblings of idolatry and druidic practices, human sacrifice and even demon worship.
