Beginning on the 14th of September, 1994, Southern Africa experienced an unprecedented rash of UFO sightings. The UFO flap’s beginning would be marked with a breathtaking display of nighttime lights that, at the time, astronomers attributed to a meteor shower. The media was then treated to a number of other unexplainable sightings that occurred in the following days. A trucker reported seeing strange beings crossing the road in front of him. A mother and her son reported seeing an unusual visitor during daylight hours.
