Case File 76-9/11 Redux

Once again, we remember the day that fundamentally changed the world after 2001. When the twin towers were brought down, it could be seen as a culmination of the West’s attempts to meddle in Middle Eastern affairs. In the face of these unprecedented attacks the word “terrorism” became the rallying cry for the US government to create new policies and new agencies to combat the threat. Even though the Sept 11 attacks are almost two decades past there are groups that still claim that this was not an attack orchestrated by foreign aggressors alone. The scale of these attacks and the sheer number of parties who are connected is mind boggling to say the least. With so many groups who have interests and connections to the Middle East it’s easy to draw certain conclusions about the purpose of these attacks. The Theorists once again return to one of the most pivotal days in modern history. We ask if this event, so unthinkable in it’s scale and complexity, could have truly been committed by just one group. Or was this the work of some dark hand that guides the world’s events towards the goal of a rule governed by fear.
