Case of missing Millvale woman now a homicide investigation in Harrisburg...Governor Shapiro plans to sign ban on using hand held cell phones while driving...North Allegheny senior one of 161 students in U.S. named as Presidential Scholars
from Pittsburgh All Local
A man who last saw a missing Millvale woman is accused of stealing her identity. NewsRadio KDKA's Suzie Cool has the story: Anthony Proctor is facing identity theft and other charges, accused of using Tracy Scanlon's state benefits card at a Sam's Club in the Harrisburg area. Scanlon has been missing since late February and authorities say the case is now a homicide investigation. Police say she was living temporarily with Proctor. When he was arrested, officers say Proctor denied knowing Scanlon, but a witness says they saw the pair together in public. Proctor fatally shot a man in Pittsburgh in 1994 and was convicted of third-degree murder. He was also found guilty of simple assault and reckless endangerment in 2010. So far, no homicide charges in the Harrisburg homicide case. Suzie Cool, NewsRadio KDKA.
