Before he was Jonas Grumby on Gilligan's Island, Alan Hale Jr. was smiling CASEY JONES. This vintage episode includes "Robert Jordan," better known as BOBBY JORDAN, who usually played the weakest or most dramatic member of The Dead Ends Kids (aka East Side Kids aka Bowery Boys). If one of the gang was going to get sick or be unjustly jailed or beaten up, it was bound to be innocent-looking Bobby. He and Gabe Dell were the two "gang" members who tried hardest to shake their juvenile identity and move on to legit acting assignments. Veteran actor Denver Pyle is also in this episode.
