Cash and property linked to one of the world’s biggest boiler room scams run by the so-called ‘Ferrari Fugitives’ has been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau.The infamous Cartu brothers, who are wanted by US authorities, ran a bogus investors scheme that netted €186m.The cash paid by victims mostly from the United States was then laundered through Irish-registered firms.Nicola talks with Eamon Dillon who explains the story.  Hosted on Acast.
