Cash Games: Week 5 Huge points/Week 6 Preview with Charles Sears

from The Big D Podcast

In this episode, Charles Sears and I talk Week 5 points and Week 6 preview. First, we talk about our Week 5 lineups. We talk about the cash plays that worked. Charles mentions the minimum score was around 171-172 points. He also mentions how the chalks plays all worked. I mention how the Dalvin Cook inactive news made me hesitant on using Alexander Mattison until the projections led me to Minnesota's other running back. Charles did not hear this news until it was too late. We talk about our head-to-head lineups. I beat him 208.78-200.52. Charles mentions how he pivoted from Giants quarterback Daniel Jones to LA Chargers star Justin Herbert in his cash lineup! Herbert accounted for five touchdowns in a 47-42 Charger win over the Cleveland Browns. Charles was unable to change in our matchup. Charles also knew Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb, who played in the late afternoon last week, was in my cash lineup due to my lineup construction. Onto Week 6, we talk about our favorite cash quarterback options. We dicuss several studs including Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Ravens phenom Lamar Jackson. Washington's Taylor Heinicke also could be work undre $6,000 against a terrible KC pass defense. We also look at whether Pats rookie Mac Jones could fill as a punt option. Onto running back, Charles starts with Chargers running back Austin Ekeler as a potential stud. I mention how Colts star Jonathan Taylor and LA Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. could be in line for big days with their teams monster favorites. At receiver, a couple of studs attract our attention. Green Bay's Davonte Adams and Rams star Cooper Kupp could be in line for double-digit targets again this weekend. We also look at which Bengal receiver could work in our lineup. KC's Tyreek Hill could be in line for another big week. From receiver to tight end, we talk about our favorite cash tight ends. With Chiefs star Travis Kelce back on the main slate, we answer whether Kelce will be in our cash lineups. We also discuss NY Giants tight end Evan Engram and the Washington Football team's Ricky Seals-Jones. We end this episode with defenses to use in our cash games this weekend.
