Casting Cares on Life Support

1 Peter 5:6,7 says, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." We can trust the Lord in bringing our cares and burdens to the Lord, knowing that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He is to be our strength. However, many of us have put our cares on life support, holding onto them while thinking we have yielded them over to God. Thank the Lord for His patience with us in our weakness,  for His Word to correct us, and His Spirit to lead us.  If you are or have struggled in truly casting your cares on the Lord, I hope you find this episode encouraging.
