Each Christian has a personal ministry, and many people exercise that ministry in the context of a local church. You're a Bible study leader, do evangelism visitation, volunteer with children or youth, or you’re a choir member. Beware of Satan's greatest tool -- discouragement.  He wants us to become weary in well doing. Our greatest weapon is faith in the specific promises God has given us. Deuteronomy 1:21 we read, “See, the LORD your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your fathers, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." In today’s study, Casting Out Discouragement, Dr. Gonzalez reminds us that we not only walk by faith, but we also work by faith. We are not to give up in discouragement, God is using us in ways greater than we know.   _______________________________________________________________   Today’s podcast is brought to you by Time in the Word. We then discuss the author and/or artist(s) and the song.We look into the lyrics of each song - relating it to the time in which it was originally played on the radio and what, if any, meaning it has today. We make a "Cross Connection" to each song and relate the lyrics to the "timeless" principles taught in God's word. At times, we part theological company with those who might use their talents in music to deny God's word. We always do our best to point that out on the program. In all, we hold true to the Word without compromise! We do not attempt to judge or promote the lifestyle of any artist we feature but rather look at their work and use the songs to share God's love. Our hosts each week are Mick Wells and Pastor Rick Smith. Our format is very laid back and has been described as’ two Camper by E. Pauline Johnson Loyal Books It is eminently fitting that this daughter of Nature should have been laid to rest in no urban cemetery. According to her own request she was buried in Stanley Park, Vancouver's beautiful heritage of the forest primeval. A simple stone surrounded by rustic palings marks her grave and on this stone is carved the one word "Pauline." There she lies among ferns and wild flowers a short distance from Siwash Rock, the story of which she has recorded in the legends of her race. In time to come a pathway to her grave will be worn by lovers of Canadian poetry who will regard it as one of the most romantic of our literary shrines.
